We’re down to the last week of the campaign and I’m almost over my cold, which I’ve had since the week before the primary.  I had the same thing four years ago, so I figure it’s good luck, but it has been hard to keep my voice through the series of forums we’ve had.  I think that by the end of the week we will have had something like 18 forums since the primary.

I have also been out knocking on doors every weekend.  This weekend we were in the Buckeye Neighborhood and in Midvale Heights.  Here’s something you might not think about: warm weather isn’t necessarily a good thing when you’re doing doors.  You warm up just fine anyway when it’s cold and without a coat it’s harder to store literature, pens and all the stuff you need when you’re out there.

Also, on the good news front, we got the editorial support of both The Capital Times and the Wisconsin State Journal – a rare thing.
